Boom of malfunction reports for almost all Italian phone operators: what's going on.
UPDATE 7:20 PM - The malfunction reports from all major Italian phone operators are gradually coming back, along with those related to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger services. This seems to confirm our hypothesis: most of the reports were a false alarm and it was Facebook's apps that were down, not the operators' connection.

Just as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger servers are collapsing around the world, Italian phone operators also seem to have several problems today March 19, 2021.
Starting at 6 p.m., in fact, reports of malfunctions from users Tim, Vodafone, WindTre, b and virtual operators, such as Ho Mobile and Poste Mobile, have skyrocketed. The coincidence of the times with the down of the Facebook group's apps, however, suggests that these are false alarms: the apps most used by users are not working, and they believe that the problem lies in the Internet connection.
For Wind, however, the problem is at least partly real: it is impossible to make and receive calls, while someone manages to surf, albeit very slowly. For Vodafone, however, it would even be a cross-border down: on Twitter there are messages asking for assistance for #VodafoneDown from Germany and other foreign countries.
