Very Mobile, the lowcost operator that challenges Iliad

Very Mobile is Wind-Tre's new lowcost virtual operator: here are prices, rates and probable launch date

Also Wind-Tre will have its own official lowcost operator. The third Italian telephone operator is working to complete the merger and in the meantime also brings the project to have a lowcost operator on the style of Iliad, Kena and ho.mobile. The name chosen by Wind-Tre should be Very Mobile: the name and the trademark were registered in November last year at the UIBM, the Italian Patent and Trademark Office.

Although there is still no formality from the telephone operator, there are few doubts about the fact that Wind-Tre intends to attack the telephony market with a new low-cost subject. The goal is to subtract customers to direct competitors, primarily Iliad, which continues its growth process and now exceeds 4 million users in Italy. Information about rates, prices and official launch of Very Mobile in Italy are not there, but some users have already found the website and customer service of the new operator. It's a sign that the project is in a very advanced phase and that the official debut is probably only a few weeks/months away.

What is Very Mobile

This is the name of the new low-cost phone operator created by Wind-Tre. As already done by Tim with Kena and Vodafone with ho.mobile, also the third Italian operator has created a virtual operator to strengthen its presence in Italy. For the moment we only know the price and brand, while everything else is still being defined. Wind-Tre believes a lot in this new project and is preparing a very effective marketing campaign that focuses on prices and reliability of the service.

Very Mobile: prices and tariffs

What will Very Mobile's prices and tariffs be like? There are no rumors at the moment, but surely the new low-cost virtual operator will aim at prices much lower than average with all inclusive packages: unlimited minutes and SMS with at least 30GB of data.

Very Mobile could launch offers at 5-6 euros per month with at least thirty gigs of Internet, with a limit for download and upload speed, a bit like Vodafone has already done with ho.mobile. For the moment, however, these are only guesses.

When Very Mobile arrives

Wind-Tre is working to launch Very Mobile as soon as possible. In addition to the website and customer service, the application for Android and iOS, where you will be able to buy the SIM card directly, is already ready. Very Mobile's official debut could already take place by March.
