What the new Smart Fire TVs from Amazon and Toshiba look like

Toshiba teams up with Amazon and unveils a new range of Smart TVs with built-in Alexa support and 5 different diagonals: 43, 50, 55 and 65 inches.

A new line of smart TVs born from the collaboration between Amazon and Toshiba is on the way. The announcement of the models came just in the last few hours and includes a range with screens that touch from 43 to 75 inches with new features and integration of the voice assistant of the e-shopping giant, Alexa.

The Toshiba C350 series, this is the name of the line that unites the smart TVs recently born from the partnership between the two companies, includes five different models with Amazon Fire TV integrated and with 5 different screens. It starts from the smallest, with a 43-inch screen, going up to 50", 55", 65" up to the remarkable size of 75 inches, in order to easily cover the needs of a good slice of consumers. To characterize them, there is the 4K resolution, available for all models, a design that provides a body reduced to a minimum to give greater prominence to the breadth of the panel used, a flash memory expanded compared to the past and two additional ports, respectively USB and HDMI to connect external devices.

Smart TV Amazon and Toshiba, live Picture-in-Picture

Among the details that pop up on these new models there is the live view Picture-in-Picture. While watching content, whether it's TV channels, streaming services (such as Netflix or Amazon Prime) or more, these smart TVs allow you to dedicate a small space on the screen to control monitors in your home, such as the external webcam, the video intercom or the security cam in the kids' room, all without having to interrupt the main viewing.

Amazon and Toshiba smart TVs, Alexa integration

To access Picture-in-Picture, as well as to activate the other features available on these smart TVs, you can use Alexa. With the voice commands that, usually, are used for device management via Amazon's smart speakers, you can manage the TV's features, from searching for content to changing settings, without having to use the buttons on the supplied remote control, except for the one to activate the microphone built into it.

Amazon and Toshiba smart TVs, other features

As anticipated above, there are many video and audio streaming services accessible via Amazon and Toshiba smart TVs, exploitable via the apps on the device. In addition, the connection to the Wi-Fi network is made more secure thanks to the use of the WPA3 protocol, the third version of the security certificate developed by the Wi-Fi Alliance.

The new smart TVs are currently on sale only in the United States but may soon be released outside the national borders. At the moment, it is possible to pre-order two of the presented models, namely those equipped with a smaller 43-inch and 50-inch screen, priced at $439 and 469, respectively, or about 290 and 390 euros.
