WhatsApp is carrying out work on the Multidevice feature that will allow users to use the same profile on multiple devices: here's how it works
In recent months we've talked a lot about it and now WhatsApp is back to show us some news about Multidevice mode, the new feature that will allow users to use the same profile on multiple devices at the same time. The tool is still under development and for the moment only internal tests have started, but the technicians are working to improve it more and more.
The guys at WaBetaInfo have published an article on their blog showing new screenshots of how the Multidevice mode will work. In fact, in the code of WhatsApp beta version 2.20.196.8, some news about the new tool have been discovered. Confirmed the fact that you will be able to use the same WhatsApp account on up to four devices at the same time. To increase user security and check if by chance you are spied on by someone, a new item has been added to the main menu that allows you to check which devices are connected to the same profile. Development work continues on the new Multi-device feature. One of the biggest problems will be to ensure maximum privacy and security to users and for this reason a new item will be added to the main menu that is activated by pressing the three vertical buttons in the upper right corner. The new item is called "Linked Devices" and once opened it shows all the devices on which your WhatsApp profile is active.
For those who use a lot the desktop version of WhatsApp, this is the same screen that appears on the messaging app when you press on the WhatsApp Web item in the main menu.
In this list each user will be able to see which devices are linked with the profile and in case decide to delete one to make room for a new one (remember that the maximum limit is set at four). But that's not all. You will also be able to check if there are devices that you do not know and the time with the last access made.

In addition to Multidevice mode, WhatsApp is also working on the new advanced search. In the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android there are screenshots showing the tool's interface: pressing on Search small icons appear on the screen with the words: Photos, Videos, Links. Gif, Audio and Documents, so as to simplify the life of users. This novelty is also under development and will be available in the future.

For the moment, all the novelties affecting WhatsApp are still under development and there is no date for release. They should arrive by the end of 2020, but there is no certainty: these are tools that need a lot of work in order not to create problems for the entire structure of the app.
