For example, you can customize the chat graphics or change the WhatsApp font. They even allow you to disable calls and video calls.
These applications, however, are not available on the Google Play Store, but only on third party stores or by installing the APK (Android Application Package) file on your smartphone. Installing an application that is not on the Google store is always a big danger, especially for your personal data. Inside the code of the application could be hidden a virus capable of stealing our personal data or images and videos exchanged with our friends. WhatsApp Plus and GB WhatsApp, in fact, do not use the encryption system present on the official version of WhatsApp, leaving the possibility for attackers to access their information. The differences seem to be minimal. The icon of the app is blue instead of the classic green of WhatsApp, the graphics slightly different with the possibility to customize it according to your taste, the font of the words can be changed to make your conversations unique. WhatsApp fake applications also allow you to share images and videos in high resolution or disable calls so as not to be disturbed.
These are modified versions of WhatsApp that can be installed on your Android smartphone. They are not on the Google Play Store, but only on third party stores. The fact that they are not present on the Google store should make us think: why were they removed from the Google Play Store? The answer is very simple: the two applications put your personal data at risk.

Appearances are often deceiving. What seem to be two harmless applications are actually hiding big problems.
First of all, messages sent via WhatsApp Plus and GB WhatsApp are not protected. The two fake WhatsApp apps don't use an advanced encryption system and any hacker could get inside their servers and steal users' personal data.
Another problem concerns the ability to send high-resolution images. WhatsApp engineers have been able to develop a very advanced compression system capable of drastically reducing the weight of images sent through the application without losing quality. WhatsApp Plus and GB WhatsApp do not use this compression system and allow you to send very heavy images, with the risk of locking your smartphone.
Finally, using WhatsApp Plus and GB WhatsApp you risk being banned from the official version of WhatsApp because they break the Terms of Use. So be very careful: do not install modified WhatsApp apps. Otherwise, your WhatsApp account will be suspended.
