WhatsApp virus: now travels via email in the form of a voice note

A hacker using the nickname of the messaging service attacks users by exploiting attachments such as audio and photos to steal victims' sensitive data

WhatsApp sent you an audio note? Don't listen to the content because it is a virus. In the last period on the messaging application a hacker, hiding under a nickname that takes the name of the service, is infecting several users using attachments.

Watch out for incoming audio notes. The audio note on WhatsApp is no longer a novelty. Many users for convenience and speed use it to message with friends and family without almost using the keyboard to write. It's often a popular way to send funny content as well, and given the great use hackers are starting to exploit them to easily infect users' devices. Wondering how it works?
