We had anticipated it in recent days and now comes the official confirmation from Xiaomi: in October comes the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite, mid-range smartphone designed for young users who are looking for the best device for value for money. The Chinese company has decided to focus heavily on the Mi 9 range and has tried to diversify the offer with many phones all quite similar to each other: ranging from the Mi 9T Pro up to the Mi 9 SE.
The MI 9 Lite is not a "brand new" smartphone. It is actually the European version of the Xiaomi CC9, a smartphone presented a few months ago in China. During the presentation that took place in Milan, Xiaomi has focused mainly on the photographic compartment: the device, in fact, has a triple camera with 48-megapixel main sensor. Thanks to the help of artificial intelligence, the shots are bright and sharp, even in the most complicated situations. The battery is also one of the strengths of the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite that with its 4030mAh guarantees a battery life of at least one day.
The characteristics of the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite
A smartphone that goes to cover a space not yet occupied by Xiaomi with its smartphones. The Mi 9 Lite fits perfectly in the middle class of smartphones, the one manned so far by Huawei and Samsung with many devices. Xiaomi's strategy seems to be very similar to that of its two main antagonists: to expand the number of smartphones as much as possible and cover any market segment.
The Mi 9 Lite is a mid-range with on board the Snapdragon 710, 6GB of RAM and 64-128GB of internal memory, expandable up to 256GB. The design is very reminiscent of its bigger brother: teardrop notch with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera inside. The screen has a 6.39-inch diagonal with FullHD+ resolution.
As anticipated at the beginning, Xiaomi has focused a lot on the presence of the triple camera on a device dedicated to the mid-range. The main sensor is 48 Megapixels, the same one we already learned about on other smartphones from the Chinese company. In support there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel photo sensor dedicated to the depth of field.
The battery of the Mi 9 Lite is 4030mAh and guarantees an autonomy of at least one day. The main sensors are present: dual band Wi-Fi, NFC for digital payments, infrared and the 3.5mm audio jack. Also present is the dual SIM slot.
