Xiaomi has unveiled its new phablet the Mi Max 3, a device with dual rear cameras, 6.9-inch screen and 5,500mAh super battery
Xiaomi has unveiled its new mid-range smartphone: the Mi Max 3. This is a device with a very large screen, albeit with bezels, 6.9 inches with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Also impressive is the 5,500mAh battery that guarantees multiple days of use.
The new Xiaomi smartphone borrows several features from the other device from the Xiaomi house, the Redmi Note 5. It not only mounts the same processor but also has the same dual camera. The strong point of this Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is the use of artificial intelligence to simplify and improve several operations. For example, we will be able to do quick searches thanks to the voice assistant and at the same time we will also be able to improve the quality of our shots thanks to the camera AI that has a specific feature to improve selfies.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3: technical specifications
The screen of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, as mentioned, touches the seven inches and the resolution is FullHD+. The new phablet from Xiaomi measures 176.15 x 87.4 x 7.99 mm and weighs 221 grams. At the back under the dual camera we also find a fingerprint sensor and does not lack the 3.5 mm headphone jack. On board instead we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset with an octa-core CPU at 1.8 GHz. In support we will find two variants one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage and another with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The autonomy should exceed two days of average use thanks to the aforementioned 5.5oomAh battery. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will run on Android Oreo 8.1 heavily customized with MIUI 9. The version of the Chinese manufacturer's graphical interface will be updated in the coming months first to MIUI 10 and then also to MIUI 11. In the rear of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 we find a dual camera with a 12-megapixel main sensor and 1.9 focal aperture supported by a second 5-megapixel sensor with 2.0 focal aperture. The front camera, as mentioned powered by artificial intelligence, instead is 8 megapixels.

The new Xiomi Mi Max is available on the market in three different colors: gold, blue and black. As mentioned it will be available for purchase in two different variants. The 4 GB model with 64 GB of storage will cost 220 euros while the 6 Gb model with 128 GB of internal memory will cost 255 euros.
