Xiaomi has unveiled the MIUI 12 that brings with it some news at the software level. Here's on which smartphones it will be available
After debuting in China, MIUI 12 also lands in the rest of the World, including Italy. The new graphical interface of the Chinese company brings with it many new features, especially in terms of privacy, increasing the tools available to users to better manage the permissions given to installed apps. There are also aesthetic improvements with new animations to make the smartphone more fluid and stable.
The update to MIUI 12 is highly anticipated by users. The user interface, in fact, is one of the secrets of success in recent years of Xiaomi smartphones: simple and clear icons, excellent usability and ease of use. During the presentation, the Chinese company also announced the devices on which the new interface will be released. The list is quite extensive and includes both the latest models released on the market, as well as smartphones a bit older, a sign that the company continues to support its devices even after a few years from release.
The main novelties of MIUI 12
What are the novelties that Xiaomi has prepared for MIUI 12? The developers have started from privacy, implementing in the UI all the tools introduced by Google in Android 10. Users have more power over the permissions required by the applications in order to work, especially on the permissions that concern personal data (geolocation, access to the microphone and the photo gallery).
New features also at the graphic level with new animations, but especially with the "Super Wallpaper" based on NASA images. The Super Wallpapers profoundly change both the icons shown in the Always-on display and the images of the Home screen and Lock screen.
Changes also at the level of functionality. Per il multitasking sono state introdotti dei nuovi strumenti che permettono una migliore gestione delle app aperte. Introdotta anche una nuova modalità per risparmiare batteria quando è quasi agli sgoccioli. Migliorato anche il Tema scuro, con una nuova tavolozza dei colori anche più dark.
MIUI 12, su quali smartphone arriva
Xiaomi ha rilasciato anche una prima lista con tutti gli smartphone che riceveranno l’aggiornamento della nuova MIUI 12. Nella lista sono presenti sia gli ultimi top di gamma lanciati all’azienda, come ad esempio il POCO F2 Pro, sia dispositivi un po’ più vecchi. Per il momento non c’è una data precisa, si sa solamente che sui primi smartphone arriverà nelle prossime settimane. Ecco tutti gli smartphone Xiaomi che riceveranno la MIUI 12.
