There are eight images in all and they have been created especially for all users who want to communicate in an original and fun way with their contacts. The wallpapers can be used through the Zoom platform.

Studio Ghibli: 8 new wallpapers from Miyazaki's films

Hayao Miyazaki is one of Japan's leading directors and animators. For decades he has enchanted audiences with animated films of all kinds. His name is linked to that of Studio Ghibli, founded by himself and his partner in 1985. He is considered one of the greatest living directors of animated films and he, like many others, has made his contribution to keeping company with the millions of users confined to their homes because of Covid-19.

For the occasion he has created eight original wallpapers inspired by the settings of Studio Ghibli films. The images are specially designed for video calls and can be downloaded for free from the animation studio's official website and used on many apps, particularly Zoom.

What are the rules for using Studio Ghibli wallpapers?

Miyazaki has made the wallpapers available, but there are specific rules for using them. First of all, the images cannot be used for commercial purposes or to advertise products and services. Also, whenever you use the material you must cite the source, which is the Studio Ghibli website.

Aside from that, you can use them as you need. For example, you can change the size of the images and adapt them to the screen during the video call. In fact, each device requires special adjustments, such as the resolution and the size of the background.

The panels embrace the imagination of Miyazaki and his partner Isao Takahata and reproduce frames from some of the most famous films. We find first of all "Laputa, the castle in the sky" and "The Enchanted City".
