With an appeal launched on the Net, the President of the Chamber of Deputies Laura Boldrini warns against the "factories of hoaxes interested in increasing the number of readers instead of taking care of the reliability of the sources".
A very hard position of the President of the Chamber of Deputies, who invites social networks, schools and newspapers to collaborate to put an end to a vicious circle that is seriously endangering the democracy of the Net. The President of the Chamber of Deputies has launched an initiative to collect signatures for "the right to correct information".
A pool of experts
Boldrini has involved a group of experts in the field (Paolo Attivissimo, Michelangelo Coltelli, David Puente and Walter Quattrociocchi) to try to find a solution to the factories of hoaxes that every day infect the Net with their news. For this reason, the appeal asks for an active contribution to those organizations that every day are in close contact with young people, the most exposed to fake news. From schools, through companies, newspapers and social networks, everyone must do their part and implement strategies to "create the necessary antibodies to counteract misinformation".
