Wolcen - Lords of Mayhem: PS4 release planned? Here's what it looks like

After the successful Steam launch for PC, the question about the possible console versions is even more pressing. We summarize what is known about Wolcen for PS4 and Co.

Wolcen was released on Steam on February 13, 2020 and is currently considered the hottest item among Diablo-style games. So it's not surprising that console players are also interested in a release.

Here are all the facts and rumors about a possible console release:

• Officially, there are no reliable announcements or info about a version for PS4 and Xbox One yet.
• However, developer WOLCEN Studio was already looking for a programmer for consoles in 2017.
• A controller control is to come soon for PC; this could be an indication of a later console version, but it does not have to.
• In2019, the studio announced that the focus should initially be fully on the PC release. After that, the adaptation for PS4 and Co. would be desirable and conceivable.

So much will depend on how the PC version develops, how successful it is and how much work is ahead for the developers. A PS4 version is thus still possible and not at all unlikely, even if it will still take quite a while in any case. By the way, the same goes for the next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X: everything is theoretically possible, but not confirmed.
