Huawei P30: Answering a call - how it works

With the Huawei P30, you can make calls yourself or accept incoming calls. If you do not have time to make a call at the moment, there is also the additional option to reject calls and answer via SMS. We explain how to use the different options correctly.

Huawei P30: How to accept incoming calls

When you receive a call on your new Huawei P30, you can easily accept it. If the smartphone's screen is locked, simply swipe the center button to the right to accept an incoming call. On the other hand, if you do not want to accept a call right now, swipe the screen to the left to reject it. If you reject a call, you have the option to set a reminder to call back or reply with an SMS message.

Accept call: How to use the call waiting function on the Huawei P30

If you are currently on a call and another call comes in on your Huawei P30 in the meantime, you will be informed about it if the call waiting function is activated.

1. To use the call waiting function, please open the "Phone app" of your Huawei P30 first.
2. In the phone app, tap the icon with three dots to open the menu and select the "Settings" option from it.
