AirPods: Only one side works - what now?
Due to the Bluetooth connection of the AirPods with your iPhone, it can happen that only one of the two plugs or even none works. In this case, however, you do not have to immediately assume the worst case scenario. The problem can usually be fixed quickly and is not uncommon.
AirPods: What you can do if only one side works
Often, the lack of playback is related to the fact that only one of the two earbuds is fully charged. Since the earbuds are two separate parts, they need to be treated as such.- First, place both AirPods back into the case to charge and wait a few minutes before trying again.
- If the problem hasn't resolved, reset the headphones and reconnect them.
- To do this, go to the settings under "Bluetooth" on your iOS device and tap the info icon to the right of the AirPods.
- Now tap "Ignore this device" to disconnect.
- Place the AirPods in the charging case again and wait a few minutes.
Reconnect AirPods: How to make both sides work again
- Open the charging case and remove the headphones.
- Now press and hold the setup button for a few seconds until the status indicator flashes white.
- Nun können Sie die AirPods erneut verbinden, indem Sie diese nahe an das Gerät halten und den Deckel öffnen.
- Sobald die Verbindung geklappt hat, probieren Sie die Ohrstecker erneut aus.
