Download PS4 Themes: How to find the best themes

Download new PS4 themes if you don't like the current design so much anymore. You have a choice of different backgrounds that you can download directly from the official PlayStation website. If you want even more individuality, use your personal pictures and create your own background.

How to download new themes for your PS4

Go to PlayStation's website for PS4 and click on the "Custom Backgrounds" menu option.

1. Scroll down a bit to get inspired by new wallpapers and download new themes for your PS4.
2. To do this, click on the name of the image. The image will now appear in full mode. Right-click on the image and download it to your computer.
3. Save the theme on a USB stick afterwards.

How to activate the theme on your PS4

Independent on whether you download an official theme or whether you prefer to use your own image from your gallery, pay attention to the optimal resolution. This should ideally be 1920 x 1080 for the PS4 and 3860 x 2160 for the PS4 Pro.

1. It is best to create the folder "Images" on your USB stick. In this you can also add multiple themes.
2. Now connect the USB stick to your PS4 and go to the settings.
3. Navigate to "themes" and further to "select theme".
4. Under "Custom" select your USB stick and click on the desired theme. To activate the background image, click on "Apply".
