To use all the features of the Huawei P30 Lite, you need a SIM card in nano-SIM format. Only if you have inserted the SIM card correctly into your new smartphone, you can use the Huawei P30 Lite to make calls, send messages via SMS or surf the Internet via mobile data. The Huawei P30 Lite has two slots for this, in which you can insert up to two SIM cards. If you have used a larger SIM card so far, you can either get the nano SIM from your mobile carrier or cut your old SIM card to the right size.

Huawei P30 Lite: How to insert the SIM card

If you have a suitable nano SIM card for your Huawei P30 Lite, you can insert it into one of the two SIM card slots of the device. However, be sure to turn off the Huawei smartphone before doing so.

1. Next, open the SIM card tray by pressing the included tool or a paper clip into the hole next to the card tray until it pops out.
