Meeting new people is possible in several ways nowadays. For example, you can meet them on social media sites, dating apps or in an SMS chat. However, especially the latter option is often associated with additional costs. This also applies to RTL's SMS chat offer.

How to sign up for RTL SMS chat

If you would like to get to know other people via SMS chat, then RTL's chat is a good choice. As is usual with most services, this one is not free either. RTL charges you 30 cents for each SMS when you use it. Note that under certain circumstances, additional services such as a private message may be associated with costs. To use the SMS chat, you must first register.

1. To be able to register for the SMS chat of RTL, you need the teletext of RTL.
2. Therefore, open the teletext on your TV and go to page 670.
3. First enter a chat name here. Note that this may or must have three to eight letters.
4. Then you must send an SMS with "RTL chat number chat name" to the number 73777. For chat name enter the name you thought up before. The chat number can be found on the overview on page 671. The SMS already costs you 30 cents.
