RimWorld: Royalty DLC released - all info about the expansion

Thanks to the active community, RimWorld is constantly supplied with new features via mods. With Royalty there is now also the first official expansion. We have all the info on the price and content.

Surprise: Royalty appeared relatively spontaneously as the first official RimWorld expansion.

Royalty was released in parallel with Update 1.1, but must be purchased as it is not free.

RimWorld: Royalty brings nobility to the game

Royalty is paid and costs 16.79 euros. For this price you can welcome the following features:

• A central role is played by the Empire, a new faction that can be either your ally or enemy.
• You increase your reputation with the Empire, for example, with the help of the new quests.
• This makes nobility titles for your settlers possible. This increases the claims when living.
• Adlige can access psychic powers. These give you stronger options in combat or even when traveling.
• Mechanoids are now able to build entire bases along with defenses.

Through the nobility and empire theme, the game gets several new facets and there is a lot to do, even for experienced players. You can buy the expansion here on Steam. According to developer Ludeon Studios, there will be no special promotions - consequently, price-wise, buying it now is just as good as buying it at any later date.
