For eBooks, the royalties at tolino are quite clearly regulated. Decisive is the selling price that you set for your work:

• For prices lower than 2.99 euros (gross) you get 40 percent.
• For 2.99 euros and more you get 70 percent.
• Both royalty rates refer to the net price.
• There is a calculation example: With an eBook for 4.99 euros are already 33 cents on the VAT of 7 percent. This leaves a net price of 4.66 euros - 70 percent of which is 3.26 euros.

With the limit between the royalty options tolino would like to motivate not to offer eBooks too cheap.
