When you have set up your Devolo adapters, it can happen that they flash red. In this case, it is usually because the adapters have not been started in the correct order or there is some other problem with the setup.

1. To solve the problem, note that you start the adapters one by one, step by step. To do this, first press the button on the side of the first adapter for two seconds. Within two minutes, you must then press the button on the second adapter. Do this until you have activated all adapters.
2. In addition, check whether the LAN cables are properly plugged into the adapters.
3. With the help of the Devolo Cockpit software, you can display your adapters, merge the network and make various settings. In addition, you can reset the adapters to factory settings via the software. This can help if the LED is still flashing after setup.
4. If the data transfer rate is too low, then the LED will be solid red. This may be the case if you have plugged the adapters into a multiple socket and not directly to the wall.
