Adobe ID: Reset password - how it works

Adobe ID: How to reset your password

In order to access all of Adobe's features, you must first sign in to your Adobe account. In addition to your e-mail address or Adobe ID, you will also need the corresponding password. If you have forgotten the password you set during registration, your only option is to reset it.
  1. To reset your Adobe ID password, please go to the Adobe account page in your browser.
  2. Enter your email address there and confirm your entry by clicking "Next".
  3. Then click the "Reset password" button and decide on a method to confirm your identity on the next page.
  4. You will then receive a confirmation code either by email or SMS, which you enter in the browser.
  5. Now set a new password by typing it twice.

Making Adobe ID password changes

If you know your current password and want to change it, you can do so directly in your Adobe account. To do this, first log in to your account with your Adobe ID and current password and navigate to "Profile" > "Password and Security" in your account. Then click "Change" next to the "Password" entry and enter your current password first and then the new password twice. Finally, for the change to take effect, please click "Change Password".
