Jimdo: Costs and packages explained - this is what the system looks like

Jimdo offers its users an extensive selection of paid packages. However, before the actual rate selection, there is the question of the system. We explain what Jimdo has to offer.

Targeted selection: Jimdo's tariffs are divided into two categories.

Jimdo: Creator and Dolphin as super categories

Jimdo divides its packages into two super categories:
  • Creator: This is the classic modular system in which you create your own homepage step by step. The tariff decides on factors such as storage space, bandwidth and possible additional features.
  • Dolphin: The special feature of the Dolphin packages is that even more work is taken from you. You specify the industry and answer a few questions, decide on a design and submit content such as text and photos - and based on that, the website is then created without you having to manually take care of it.
These tariffs offer the two Jimdo categories Within both categories there are different tariffs, which differ in terms of price and included features:
  • Creator includes, in addition to the Free package to try out, the tariffs Pro (9 euros per month), Business (15 euros per month), Shop (20 euros per month) and Platinum (35 euros per month).
  • You can also get to know Dolphin in the basic function with the Play tariff for free. The right packages start at Start for 9 euros per month and range through Grow (15 euros per month) and GrowLegal (20 euros per month) to the complete package called Unlimited for 39 euros per month.
The systematics is clear: The more expensive the tariff, the more scope, better performance and better service you can expect. Since upgrades are possible at any time, it is advisable in case of doubt to choose a cheaper package first and respond as needed.
