What is Minecraft Dungeons?

While Minecraft is all about the endless building possibilities, Dungeons focuses on action.

• The gameplay is based on hack-and-slay and is therefore very combat-heavy.
• In contrast, resource collecting, crafting and building do not exist at all.
• The isometric perspective also differs from the first-person view known from Minecraft.
• You choose one of four characters.
• During the story that leads through the game, players also have to solve puzzles, which gives the game elements of an action adventure.
• In addition, there are role-playing elements, as experience is gained and your character becomes stronger as a result.

Through the perspective and the battle system, Minecraft Dungeons is thus not dissimilar to the gameplay of Diablo 3 and Path of Exile, even if the atmosphere and setting are completely different.
