Minecraft Dungeons: Is there matchmaking in multiplayer?

Only for friends: Online matchmaking is missing in Minecraft Dungeons.

Matchmaking is handy when your friends don't have time to play together. The system is therefore common in quite a few online games.

Minecraft Dungeons: No matchmaking available

In Minecraft Dungeons, however, you will have to do without it.

• A matchmaking system is not available in Minecraft Dungeons.
• As a result, you can only play together with people from your friends list. This is possible via online play with up to four participants.
• Optionally, there is also a local co-op mode for two players on the same console or PC.

Thanks to crossplay support, which will be introduced in November, the selection of players continues to grow, so the lack of online matchmaking is somewhat mitigated.
