Valheim: Increase inventory - how it works

Your character in Valheim gets another challenge early on, in the form of the inventory. Our guide explains how to increase it and what it takes to do so.

Higher load limit: With a special belt, your character can carry more.

The inventory can become a problem in Valheim in two respects, namely both in terms of size (number of slots) and the weight allowed.

Valheim: How to increase your inventory

The maximum load is initially namely 300 units.

• It is, however, possible to upgrade. For this you need to find the NPC merchant Haldor.
• This is located in the Dark Forest biome, but not near your starting area. You usually have to cross the sea to find him.
• He appears on the map as soon as you are within two kilometers of him.
• Having found him, you can buy the belt called Megingjord from him. The price is 950 coins.
• Indem you put the belt in the inventory like a normal garment, the load limit increases by 150 units.
