With car sharing cars you are basically always insured. However, a fixed deductible is also common. We explain what the conditions at Scouter look like and what options are available.

Scouter: Insurance and options at a glance

The standard deductible at Scouter is 1,500 euros. However, this can be reduced by booking various options:

• For 99 euros per year, your deductible is reduced to 150 euros for all trips.
• For individual trips, the improved accident protection costs 8 euros each.

The question of whether this is of interest to you depends not least on how often you use the service. If you use Scouter consistently on a regular basis, the 99 euros are probably a good coverage. For single trips, the 8 euros fall relatively heavily into the weight; here, the conditions as well as the skills of the driver are important.
