The Houseparty app is currently enjoying increasing popularity, as it allows its users to stay in touch with friends, acquaintances and family in times of contact and curfew restrictions. Houseparty is available for free and is not only available as an app for iOS and Android devices, but can also be used on the Mac or as an extension for Google Chrome. All that is required is to download the Houseparty app and create an account.

So many people can use the Houseparty app at the same time

Once you have created a free account in the Houseparty app, the next step is to see which of your friends are currently online.

1. To do this, simply open your friends list in the app by swiping from top to bottom on the display.
2. To start a new video call, then tap on the username of the respective friend and wait until they accept the call.
3. If the video call is active, this is visible to your other friends as well as your friend's contacts and they can easily join the conversation.
4. However, the number of people who can participate in a video call at the same time is limited to 8 people in the Houseparty app.
