To do this, you must first enter the correct command to activate the cheats. After that, enter the applicable code depending on the relationship status you want.

To significantly shorten the relationship building process, edit your Sims' relationships by cheat in Sims 4. To do this, first activate the cheats:

1. Simultaneously press the key combination [ctrl]+[shift]+[C].
2. Now type "testingcheats true" to activate the command input for cheats. Confirm the process with Enter.
3. Now change the relationship status of your Sims according to the following pattern: modifyrelationship NameSim1 NameSim2 -Strength relationship type.

How to change the relationship status specifically

To now change the relationship status for two of your Sims, use the above pattern.

1. For NameSim1 and NameSim2 respectively, enter the first and last names of the Sims in question instead.
2. Instead of "Strength", enter a value between 0 and 100. This number determines the strength of the friendship. Remember to put the hyphen in front of the number.
3. For "Relationship Type" choose between Friendship_Main" and "Romance_Main": Friendship denotes a friendly relationship, while Romance leads to a romantic love relationship between the Sims.
