How to activate Bluetooth on laptop

Before you connect your laptop with another device via Bluetooth, it is necessary to activate the function. On a laptop, the fastest way to activate Bluetooth is to use the function keys. To do this, simultaneously press the Fn key and one of the keys F1 to F12, on which the Bluetooth icon is displayed. If your laptop does not have such a Bluetooth button, you can also activate the function via the Settings menu.

How to connect your laptop with Bluetooth

Once you have activated the Bluetooth function, the next step is to make sure that the devices are in pairing mode and visible to the other device.

1. To connect your laptop to the Bluetooth device afterwards, please open the Info Center on a Windows 10 PC and click "Connect".
2. If you have a laptop with Windows 7, navigate instead to "Start" > "Devices and Printers" > "Add Device" and select the device before confirming with "Next".
