Telegram: Create stickers - how to do it

Telegram is a messenger service that lets you communicate with friends and family. So that you don't have to resort to emojis alone, you also have the option of creating your own stickers.

How to create stickers for Telegram

For creating them, it's best to work on the computer, since you won't get anywhere on your smartphone or tablet for now. In addition, you should make sure that your files are not too large and do not exceed the dimensions of 512 x 512 pixels.

1. First, open Telegram and the sticker bot, which you can find under "@stickers" and which will guide you through the rest of the procedure.
2. Then send it the message "/start/" to start setting up. For your sticker pack assign a name using "/newpack".
3. Now you can start uploading the sticker.
4. For the actual creation are suitable special applications such as "Gimp".
5. Start the program and navigate to "File" > "New".
6. Now enter "512" and "512" in the image size.
7. With a click on "OK" opens a new empty file for you.
8. Now switch to the category "Transparency" > "Layer" > "Add alpha channel".

14. Öffnen Sie nun wieder Telegram und ziehen Sie den erstellten Sticker in das Fenster.
15. Versenden Sie einen Emoji an den Sticker-Bot, mit dem Sie ihn später leichter finden.
