Unregister Tinder - how to delete your account

If you don't want to continue using the dating app Tinder, you can simply delete the app from your smartphone. However, deleting the app alone is not enough to close the user account as well. Learn here how to log out of Tinder and delete your account completely.

Sign out of your Tinder account - this is how it works

If you want to log in with another Tinder account on your smartphone or tablet, you first have to sign out. This works via the settings of the app. If you want to close your account completely, this also works via the settings of the dating app.

1. Start Tinder and call up the settings.
2. Scroll down in the overview and tap on the "Delete account" button.
3. You will now be asked whether you only want to pause your account or delete it completely. To delete, tap "Delete my account." If the process is successful, you will receive the message "Account has been successfully deleted."

For your Tinder account to be completely deleted, you will need to remove the connection to your Facebook account, if any.

1. Rufen Sie Facebook im Browser auf oder öffnen Sie die App auf Ihrem Smartphone oder Tablet.
2. Melden Sie sich mit Ihren Benutzerdaten an und rufen Sie die Einstellungen auf.
3. Wählen Sie links in der Navigation den Punkt „Apps und Websites“ aus.
4. Suchen Sie in der Kategorie „Mit Facebook angemeldet“ nach Tinder. Setzen Sie den Haken in der Checkbox und klicken Sie abschließend auf „Entfernen“.
