Create Tinder account without Facebook

It is possible to sign up for Tinder without Facebook. However, for this you need to provide your cell phone number or email address. To sign up by phone number, you use the Facebook Account Kit, but your profiles are not linked.

How can you sign up for Tinder without providing your Facebook profile?

You can use the dating app without connecting Tinder to your Facebook profile. Instead, you can provide your email address or mobile number. To do this, first install Tinder via your Playstore or via the Appstore.

1. Open the app and decide whether you want to register by phone number or by email.
2. Enter your data.
3. Go to next.
4. You will receive a code via SMS, which you need to enter on Tinder, or an email, which you need to confirm.
5. Your registration has now been confirmed. In the next steps you can set up your profile.

While signing up by number, you will be informed that the number will be verified with Facebook's Account Kit. This does not mean that the profiles of Tinder and Facebook are linked, but serves Tinder to verify your identity. If you do not want to use the sign-up kit either, simply sign up using your email address.

When signing up without Facebook, no photos or other data will be taken from your Facebook profile. Tinder cannot post to Facebook on your behalf. If you want to make sure that no data is shared between Facebook and Tinder, you can create a new Facebook profile that they verify with the same mobile number as your Tinder profile.
