iPhone X Reset: This key combination exists

If your iPhone X no longer responds to inputs, it may no longer be possible to turn off the device in the normal way. Then you can force your iPhone to restart via a key combination. Most of the time, the smartphone will work again as usual afterwards.

Restarting the iPhone X

If your iPhone X crashes and the screen freezes, a simple restart can be enough to fix the problems. However, if the device also stops responding when you try to turn it off, you should know the key combination for a reset. A restart is a forced restart. With the right key combination, this will work even if the system has crashed completely. If the battery was already low before the crash, connect your iPhone X to a charging cable for a few minutes before the reset. This way, you make sure that there is enough energy to boot up the device again as well. An interrupted restart after a reset can possibly lead to data loss. Performing a reset

1. Press the Volume Down button briefly and then press the Volume Up button briefly immediately after.
