Yesflix: Costs, content and features of the new service

With Yesflix, a new player enters the streaming market and clearly indicates with the name in which direction it should go. We take a look at the costs and explain what makes the service special.

Yesflix is about Christian values and the content reflects that.

Netflix dominates the streaming world - for new competitors, that means having to have a unique selling point.

Yesflix: Costs lower than Netflix, but less content

Yesflix is powered by Bibel TV. Accordingly, the content is aligned:

• Yesflix is explicitly about positive, life-affirming stories.
• Sex and violence consequently have no place in the program, as this is not compatible with the Christian core values.
• The subscription costs 7.99 euros per month and is thus cheaper than the big competitors.
• In addition, there are usual features such as apps for Android and iOS and an offline function. Shortly after market launch (June 2019), these features were not yet completed, but are in the works.

Logically, Yesflix also has less content in stock for this. The implementation of the slogan "See the good" gives natural limits and is thus a filter. How large the target audience of such an offer remains to be seen, just like the question of success in an already competitive market. The official site can be found here.
