When you charge the Apple Watch overnight, you don't have to do without your smart companion in your daily life during the day. While you sleep, just leave the watch on the charger and it will be ready to use again the next morning.

Battery Life: Why Charge the Apple Watch Overnight

According to Apple, the battery life of the Apple Watch is approximately 18 hours. Of course, this may vary depending on your usage: Do you work out often or do you often make phone calls via the Apple Watch, this can lead to a shorter battery life. Nevertheless, the battery life is very suitable for always charging the Apple Watch overnight. You plug the Apple Watch into a power source, go to sleep, and the next morning the battery is full.

Using the Apple Watch as an alarm clock

Despite charging, you can use it as an alarm clock. In fact, as soon as you connect the Apple Watch to a power source with the charging cable or place it on a charging stand, it will be in alarm clock mode. Put the Apple Watch on your nightstand to charge overnight, and all you have to do is tap the screen, press the side button, or press the Digital Crown to see the time.

You can also set an alarm:

  1. Open the app via the alarm clock icon.
