In Minecraft you have the possibility to create a Bukkit server instead of the default vanilla server. However, to recreate the server, you need some files beforehand. We will show you step by step what these are and how to proceed correctly to create them.

In Minecraft, you can also create a Bukkit server instead of the vanilla server. This type of server has, among other things, the advantage that you can install more plug-ins. However, just like creating a vanilla server, you need some additional files for the bukkit server. These include the "Craftbukkit.jar" file, which you can find on Bukkit's official website. You will also need the "Java Development Kit" development environment to edit files relevant to the server.

Use this procedure to create the Bukkit server in Minecraft

Once you have downloaded the required files to your computer, please follow the steps below to create the Bukkit server.

1. First, create a folder on your hard drive for your Bukkit server and give it a name.
2. Then, add the file "Craftbukkit.jar“ hinzu.
3. Erstellen Sie danach bitte eine Textdatei mit dem Namen „start.bat“ und speichern Sie diese im selben Ordner wie die Craftbukkit-Datei.
4. Machen Sie nach der Erstellung einen Rechtsklick auf die Textdatei, wählen Sie „Bearbeiten“ aus und fügen Sie der Datei in der ersten Zeile den Text „java -Xms1024 -Xmx1024 -jar craftbukkit.jar -o true“ hinzu.
5. Sobald Sie nun einen Doppelklick auf die start.bat-Datei machen, gelangen Sie automatisch zu Ihrem neuen Bukkit-Server.
