Fortnite: System requirements for PC at a glance

Fortnite: System requirements for the PC in check

For Fortnite: Battle Royale to start and play smoothly, your PC must have certain hardware installed. The minimum system requirements are:

• Operating system: Windows 7/8/10 (64 bit) or Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6
• CPU: Intel Core i3 2.4 GHz
• Graphics card: Intel HD 4000
• Memory: 4 GB RAM

However, if you want to see the world of Fortnite with better graphics settings, a bit more power is also required. The recommended hardware should at least look like this:

• Operating system: Windows 7/8/10 (64 bit) or Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6
• CPU: Intel Core i5 2.8 GHz
• Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 660 / AMD Radeon HD 7870
• Memory: 8 GB RAM

So, in general, Fornite doesn't require high-end components and that's good news. Specifically, the minimum requirements are extremely low; however, the game is not particularly smooth with these. For most gamers, however, even the recommended performance specs shouldn't be much of a problem, since computers in this class are already pretty cheap.
