Medion Tablet Reset - back to factory settings

If you have purchased a tablet from Medion, perform a reset of the device every now and then. A soft reset helps to fix small errors in the system and clear cache and co. But be careful, with a hard reset any data will be removed.

How is a Medion tablet reset?

A Medion tablet can be reset either by a hard reset or a soft reset. With a hard reset, all data is deleted.

1. With a soft reset, you free your tablet from the frozen state. To do this, simply press the power button until the tablet goes off. Then start it as usual.
2. Before a hard reset, you should create a backup of your data in any case. The hard reset will delete any data on the tablet.
3. The hard reset can be accessed via the recovery mode. To enter it, press the power button and the volume down button at the same time. Now you can select the recovery mode. Use the Volume button to navigate and confirm your selection with the Power button. After that, press and hold the power button and the volume down button to enter the reset menu.
