How do I get the menu bar back on Firefox?

The menu bar on Firefox allows you to quickly access selected features of the browser. However, since a new update, this is no longer displayed by default. If you would like to display the bar temporarily or permanently, this is possible via the settings.

How to get the menu bar back

If you have downloaded a new update for the Firefox browser or for some other reason the menu bar is no longer displayed, then you can have it displayed again. In doing so, you have the option to reset the browser to default settings or to activate the title bar and the bookmarks toolbar.
  1. To reset the browser to default, click on the horizontal bars at the top right to open the menu.
  2. Then go to the option "Customize".
  3. Here you now have the option to equip the menu bar with functions according to your wishes. Confirm the selection via "Restore default" and then go to "Done".
  4. If you want to display the title bar and the bookmark toolbar, then you can also do this via the menu item "Customize". Set here the check mark to the option "Title bar".
  5. Click further down on "Toolbars" and then on "Bookmark toolbar".
  6. Now also confirm this selection via the "Done" button. If you have already activated the menu bar, you can display the toolbars via "View" > "Toolbars".
