Komoot: Record tour - how it works

Cyclists in particular like to turn to Komoot to find new routes. But it also works the other way around: with the app, you can record your tours along with all the details.

Both ways: Komoot can not only navigate, but also record new routes.

You can use this feature to record your own statistics, or also to make the tour available to other users.

Record komoot tour: How it works

To record a tour with Komoot, it does not even have to be planned. It also works spontaneously:

1. Press the "Record" button at the bottom of the app's main menu.
2. Press the red "Record Tour" button to start.

Note that this is only possible when the phone is not running in energy-saving mode. Already during the trip you can see at the top of the window information such as speed, altitude, ascent and descent, and time.After completing the tour, you can also add photos to the Komoot route. This is also suitable for your private collection as well as for other users, who will get an even better impression. If you want, you can even send the route along with all the info to contacts as a story: This form of presentation, namely accompanied by music, is particularly well received.
