MHW Iceborne: How to find and collect treasures - all info

There are 60 treasures hidden in the world of Iceborne. Finding them is not only a nice diversion, but also gets you some trophies. We explain all the basics about treasure hunting.

Six times ten: In Iceborne, a total of 60 treasures are waiting to be found.

You can spend several hours with the treasure hunt in Iceborne. Along the way, you also have to pay attention to other things.

This is how you search and find the treasures in Iceborne

In total, the treasure hunt brings you three trophies:

• If you find the first treasure, you get the trophy "Beginning Collector".
• If you collect all the treasures of an area, you get "Experienced Collector".
• Have you found all 60 treasures, you get "Ultimate Collector".

In each of the six regions of Iceborne are hidden ten treasures.

• There is, however, a prerequisite: you must reach at least level 6 with the respective Grymalkinen of the regions. In order to level up the trust at all, the factions must be unlocked.
• In the main game, the maximum level was 5. Thus, with the start of Iceborne, all players must inevitably get to the next level up first. This is best done by taking Grymalkinen with you on the hunt.
• Because only through the "paw exchange", which becomes possible from level 6 with the cat people, you get with a little luck a tip for a treasure location.
• Once there, your Palico will help you find the treasure.

It is thus worthwhile to play just low-level missions in the regions alone to be able to take advantage of the help of the NPC cats. Thus, your unit increases with the respective people and you get more and more tips on the treasures.
