One Plus 7 Pro: Firmware update - how to proceed

It can happen that an app or function does not run properly on your One Plus 7 Pro. Usually, such errors are reported to the software manufacturer and after some time an update appears, which you can then download. This is also the case with a firmware update.

How to trigger a firmware update on the One Plus 7 Pro

Normally, you should be automatically notified when a new Android update is available. If this does not happen, you can also check manually and perform the update installation on the One Plus 7 Pro yourself.

1. Open the settings by tapping on the corresponding app on your smartphone. This is usually indicated by a gear icon.
2. Here, go on to "System" > "Advanced" > "About phone" and select the option "System updates".
3. In an overview, you can now see which version of Android is currently installed and whether an update is available.
4. If you want to install the new update, simply tap "Download Update" and follow the instructions on the screen.
