How to update the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus

The easiest way to update the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is to use the free Smart Switch software from Samsung.

1. Download Smart Switch and install the software on your PC.
2. Also install the app of the same name on your smartphone. This offers some useful functions, such as transferring data or the ability to create a backup.
3. Start the software on your computer and connect the Galaxy to the PC via a USB cable. Tap "Allow" in the display of the phone.
4. Now you will see a small notification in the middle of the window, which tells you whether the smartphone is up to date or whether an update needs to be installed.
