F1 2019 is closely based on the real Formula 1 of last season. Consequently, the developers have tried to reflect real-life conditions as closely as possible.

F1 2019: The best cars and their characteristics

It is particularly interesting to look at the top teams, as they score points with different strengths:

• AMG-Mercedes F1 is known to have the most powerful engine - and by far. In terms of acceleration and top speed, this gives the Silver Arrows an advantage.
• Scuderia Ferrari has the best aerodynamics package, followed by Red Bull. High speeds are possible despite a few horsepower less.
• Red Bull has the most advanced chassis, light and with ideal weight distribution. This is evident first and foremost in the cornering behavior. Also the tire wear benefits from it.

Important are these differences, because they greatly change the power structure depending on the track. For example, the powerful Mercedes engine is particularly helpful on high-speed circuits such as Monza (Italy) or Le Castellet (France). In the overall standings, the Mercedes car also tops the list, followed by Ferrari and Red Bull, dueling on equal terms.The midfield group is formed by Haas, McLaren and Racing Point, while Renault, Toro Rosso and Alfa Romeo bring up the rear.
