Rust: Which server should it be? We give tips

Rust is very popular and accordingly there are many servers. These differ partly enormously from each other. We explain what to look for when choosing a server and what options are available.

Just as you like it: Rust servers are available for every taste.

The server selection in Rust appeals to very different preferences. That makes it all the more important to know the options.

Rust: Which server is suitable for me?

When you start the game, you automatically get to the server selection. There you will see three categories:
  • Official: These are the official servers that are administered by the developer himself. The servers run permanently and are usually not shut down.
  • Community: These servers are managed by players - this means less work for the developers, but also offers potential for conflict.
  • Modified: On these servers, the set screws are properly twisted. This can affect, for example, the amount of resources when mining. Modified servers are aimed at players who are looking for an alternative to the official settings. Here, too, players act as administrators.
Generally, the title of the server already reveals the most important features, such as the focus on PVE or PVP, the size of maps or teams. The "Search server" field is practical here, as you can filter there by keyword. When you click on a server, you get a detailed description of the rules and settings. Auf diese Weise finden Sie einen Server, der möglichst gut zu Ihren Präferenzen passt, auch wenn viel von den Menschen abhängt, auf die Sie dort treffen.
