Rust: How to find a PVE server - tips & tricks

Survival games are very popular, however not all gamers are fans of PVP. Those who want to focus on building, for example, are better off in PVE.

Building in peace: Things are much more relaxed on PVE servers.

Unfortunately, there is no way to filter servers by criteria such as PVE in Rust. Nevertheless, there is a way to refine the selection.

Rust: Find PVE servers via search box

Decisive for this is the search box at the bottom in the middle, when you see the server selection.
  • Enter "PVE" there to see only servers in the list on the right that also have this abbreviation in the title.
  • Important: With the official servers you will not land any hits, because these are titled differently. You must select "Community" or "Modified".
  • In addition, it is a good idea to use the two filters for full and empty servers, if you are looking for a server with an active population.
Apart from the feature "PVE", the servers have many other rules of their own. It is worth looking closely there, as factors such as events (such as zombie hunting) or the rate of progress are also important role for the gaming experience. More info about the servers can be found in this guide.
