Fallout 4: XP farming - how to level efficiently

To progress quickly in Fallout 4, you need a lot of experience points. By following the intended order of the quests, you'll get XP, but only to an overly manageable degree. To progress faster, some tips and tricks will help.

How to farm XP in Fallout 4

The key to your success lies in the repeatable quest "The Steel Brotherhood", which allows you to collect more XP even after reaching level 50.
  1. In preparation, you will need to acquire a sniper rifle with scope modification and accept the quest "Learning Curve of Proctor Quinlan."
  2. You will not defend your target, but shoot the target from the airship. Also thereby you complete the quest.
  3. To do this, you must get to the air deck of the Prydwen in the rear of the ship, and unnoticed.
  4. Sneak past the knight at the entrance - this must not discover you.
  5. Visualize the target and only press the trigger when you are sure that you are "hidden".
  6. Once you have shot the target, run back to Proctor Quinlan and give the quest. Take the quest directly again and start over.

This is how many XP you achieve

If you want to quickly get to a certain XP level, you can complete the quest multiple times. In doing so, it's realistic that you'll get 20,000 XP in an hour - provided you don't get caught by the knight and can also use the sniper rifle.
