Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows you to pair other devices with your iPhone X and exchange data. However, for this to work, you need to enable the Bluetooth feature beforehand. Get an overview of how this is done on the iPhone X.

How to use the Bluetooth feature on the iPhone X

In order to use the Bluetooth feature on the iPhone X, you need to enable it first. This can be done either via the control center or via the settings of the device.
  1. To activate the Bluetooth function via the settings, please open the Settings app and navigate to "Bluetooth".
  2. Then move the slider located there to the right so that it is highlighted in green.
  3. To turn on the Bluetooth via the control center, first open it by swiping from the top right to the bottom on the iPhone X screen.
  4. In the opened control center, then tap on the Bluetooth icon so that it glows blue.

iPhone X: Connect other devices via Bluetooth

Have you activated the Bluetooth function on your iPhone X, you have the option to pair your iPhone model with other devices such as headphones or speakers via Bluetooth. To perform the pairing, please go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth" and put the device you want to connect into discovery mode. Wait until you see the accessory device on iPhone X in the list of available devices and tap its name to pair the devices. To unpair a paired device, tap the "Info icon" next to it and select "Ignore this device."
