There is hardly a preview of A Year of Rain that does not mention the legendary Warcraft 3. Despite the strong similarities, A Year of Rain brings its own unique idea.

A Year of Rain: Here's how the release works

On the release, strategy fans should know the following info:

• According to the German developer Daedalus, A Year of Rain will go into Early Access in the fall of 2019, with the date set for November 6.
• The final release is scheduled for 2020. Until then, more and more features and content will be added to the game - as usual in Early Access - while bugs and errors will be ironed out.

The special feature of A Year of Rain is the focus on co-op games: whether with real partners and opponents or with AI parties, the co-op specialization is the biggest difference to the Warcraft series. Veteran strategy fans will be allowed to try out the idea for themselves starting in November.
