Für Gears 5 gibt Microsoft die Systemanforderungen sogar in drei Stufen an:Minimal:

• CPU: Intel Core i3 Skylake / AMD FX-6000
• Grafikkarte: Geforce GTX 760 oder GTX 1050 / AMD Radeon R9 280 oder RX 560
• Arbeitsspeicher: 6 GB RAM

Empfohlen:

• CPU: Intel Core i5 Skylake / AMD Ryzen 3
• Grafikkarte: GeForce GTX 970 oder 1660 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 570 oder RX 5700
• Arbeitsspeicher: 8 GB RAM

Ideal:

• CPU: Intel Core i7 Skylake
• Grafikkarte: GeForce GTX 2080 / AMD Radeon VII
• Arbeitsspeicher: 16 GB RAM

Für die Idealkonfiguration wird außerdem SSD-Speicher empfohlen. Gears 5 benötigt rund 100 GB Speicherplatz für ein optimales Spielerlebnis. Außerdem ist Windows 10 nötig; ältere Versionen sind nicht kompatibel.
